Physique 57 is Hiring a Studio Manager Near Hoboken, NJ

Founded in 2005, Physique 57 introduced New Yorkers to a fresh approach to group fitness: classes designed to serve the whole person, body and mind. It’s a tool for becoming the best version of yourself and gaining strength and confidence along the way. Now with studios in 4 countries, multiple digital platforms with clients and subscribers in all 50 states and over 65 countries, the Physique 57 community grows stronger every day.

We are looking for a Studio Manager to be the face, heart and soul of the Physique 57 Hoboken studio and brand. This is a part-time onsite position at our studio in downtown Hoboken. This multi-faceted role is responsible for executing directives to achieve studio performance and growth goals, including coaching and collaborating with the front desk staff and instructors. This role will report directly to the studio owner.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition, Retention, and Recovery & Staff Performance and Experience

  • Own the studio’s KPIs including revenue, visits and membership, staff performance and satisfaction, and client experience
  • Recruit and coach Client Success Team (front desk) members
  • Manage class scheduling by collaborating with the instructor team including special classes
  • Control studio expenses while ensuring adequate staffing year-round
  • Execute marketing strategies to grow and retain clients across events, email, social, and WOM
  • Provide an outstanding boutique shopping experience in the studio
  • Foster and nurture local business partnerships, including through cross promotions & partner events

Facility Operations, Supply Management & Merchandise Management

  • Handle day-to-day facility maintenance to keep a consistent look and feel in line with brand guidelines
  • Manage retail merchandise inventory, record keeping, and point-of-sale systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree at a minimum
  • 20 - 30 hour per week commitment
  • Strong marketing and sales experience, preferably 2 years in fitness or retail
  • Establish and meet monthly revenue targets. Track all KPIs leading to revenue generation and trends
  • Spearhead initiatives for client acquisition, retention, and recovery
  • Dynamic, high-energy, engaging personality. A dynamic speaker who can confidently articulate our value proposition to clients and business partners
  • Foster and nourish local business partnerships. Savvy marketer and relationship manager
  • Excellent writer who can produce marketing collateral in line with brand guidelines without supervision
  • Client service manager extraordinaire. Able to artfully walk a fine line of being empathetic and making exceptions v. sticking to policy
  • Experience managing advertising accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Google
  • Local Hoboken / Jersey City candidates strongly preferred

Compensation:

  • $15 - $25 hourly salary based on experience, plus commissions on performance in meeting monthly sales targets
  • Opportunity for growth as the studio continues to open new locations
