Pay rate :$21/hrShiftNight shift:6pm-6amDay:6am-6pmDay or night 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on) which will include weekends.Job DescriptionReporting to the supervisor of manufacturing, you will be a shop floor worker in the Fill/Finish manufacturing organization. You will train with us on the technical skill sets necessary to inspect and package high-quality biologicals safely in a compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Train to become a hands-on resource in vaccine production
- Clean and prepare production areas and equipment
- Assemble, set-up, and disassemble production equipment
- Complete process steps according to defined SOPs and BPRs, including:
- Manual inspection of syringes and packaging components
- Material handling & transfers, including operating pallet jacks
- Operating production equipment and performing machine challenges
- Document activities following cGDPs
- Handle biologically and chemically hazardous materials
- Work with process automation systems and electronic business systems (e.g. PAS, BAS, LIMS, SAP, and DeltaV)
- Support equipment/process qualification & validation activities
- Work within a team environment across multiple production lines
- Troubleshoot production equipment issues
- Perform material reconciliation activities and real-time batch record reviews
- Ability work a 12hr, 2-2-3 alternating work schedule
- Ability to continuously stand and walk for majority of shift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or HS equivalency (or GED with some college coursework)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience
- Basic knowledge of cGMPs and GDPs
- Experience executing SOPs and documenting work
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical/mechanical equipment
- At least six months of experience in an aseptic environment
- Biotechnology coursework (Bioworks Certification)
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- At least 3 years in a pharmaceutical/manufacturing production environment
- Experience with syringe or vial inspection/packaging equipment and SAP
