Qualifications
- At least three years of experience creating and maintaining operating system images using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and third-party tools.
- At least three years of experience using MECM and WSUS or equivalent for OS patching, application packaging, updates, and maintenance.
- Windows 10 / 11 Enterprise operating system features, settings, and installation.
- Active Directory, Group Policy, and their use for managing user and computer objects.
- Microsoft Office 365 configuration and administration.
- Microsoft Intune configuration and administration.
- Ability to write scripts in PowerShell and/or VBScript

Operating System Image Management
- Create and maintain reference images for Windows 10/11 using SCCM and third-party tools.
- Manage the lifecycle of OS images, including version control and deployment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SCCM image creation and deployment.
- Design and implement automated OS patching strategies using SCCM and WSUS
- Configure WSUS for server and client updates, including approval rules and deployment scheduling.
- Monitor and report on the status of OS patching across the organization.
- Manage and troubleshoot WSUS server configurations and update synchronization.
- Manage and deploy applications, operating system updates, and security configurations to endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile devices) using MECM.
- Create and deploy package applications within MECM for efficient software distribution across the organization.
- Develop and implement deployment strategies for various types of content (software, updates, configurations) using MECM, ensuring efficient and successful rollouts.
- Package applications (MSI, EXE, etc.) for deployment using SCCM.
- Configure and manage Windows 10/11 features and settings using Group Policy or SCCM configurations.
- Automate Windows 10/11 desktop configuration using scripts or configuration management tools.
- Troubleshoot common Windows 10/11 deployment and management issues.
- Configure and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to ensure consistent security settings, user preferences, and system configurations across the organization's endpoints
- Create and implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to configure user and computer settings.
- Link GPOs to appropriate Active Directory containers (OUs).
- Monitor and troubleshoot Group Policy application and ensure desired configurations are applied.
- Configure and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to ensure consistent security settings, user preferences, and system configurations across the organization's endpoints.
- Develop and maintain endpoint management policies for various device types (Windows, macOS, mobile) using MECM.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to endpoint management, application deployment, and Group Policy implementation.
- Evaluate and potentially implement App-V (Application Virtualization) for specific use cases where virtualized application delivery might be beneficial.
