The Deck Restaurant and Bar at Bucks County Playhouse is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager. An extension of Bucks County Playhouse, The Deck offers theater patrons, destination diners, friends and neighbors a sophisticated dining experience in a casual setting with a chef-based menu of simple, flavorful dishes and a lively bar with beers on tap, an extensive wine list and seasonal craft cocktails. The FOH Manager will oversee all restaurant Front of House operations, ensuring that all FOH staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to be effective. The FOH Manager assists in achieving budgeted revenues, controlling expenses and labor costs, and maximizing profitability. They will be expected to learn Back of House procedures to ensure service is delivered on time, on brand and with excellence, as well as working with the Executive Chef and Beverage Manager in providing each guest with an exceptional experience.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in restaurant management. Proven organizational, interpersonal and technical skills and an expertise in providing exceptional FOH guest service are essential. A background in high volume operations, special events and catering is highly desirable, and a passion for theater is a plus. Experience with Toast preferred. High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years in restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant and bar are required. A Hospitality Management Degree is highly desirable.
