General Construction Contractor specializing in Commercial and Residential Projects and property management seeking Billing Specialist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to accounts payables/receivables, billing, some accounting and general office work.

Looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual who can prioritize and multi-task with excellent people skills. Experience in the construction industry and AIA/contract billing preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly project progress billing;

Verify invoices are billed and coded accurately to job;

Assist with management of rental properties, including payment of invoices, quarterly CAM billing and payments, and working with tenants;

Maintain up to date vendor files;

Maintain and organized jobs, including scanned documents and filing;

Ensure all invoices have proper approval for payment;

Accounts receivable and payable through Quickbooks;

Responsible for collecting, tracking, and maintaining current vendor insurance documents as required;

Perform general administrative tasks;

Manage incoming phone calls and emails and respond accordingly;

Responding to customer questions and resolve issues;

Providing accounting and clerical assistance and sharing basic administrative duties in an administrative office.

Qualifications

Must be flexible and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines and have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate high levels of self-initiation and direction. Must have the ability to effectively communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of managers, employees, vendors, and suppliers. Must be a team player and assist others as needed. Dedicated and hard-working, and takes initiative within area of responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe Acrobat;
• Quickbooks accounting software knowledge required;
• Familiar with Google Apps including the calendar, mail, and drive functions;
• Buildertrend/Procore knowledge a plus;
• Office experience in the construction industry preferred.
