Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. If you have a passion for culinary arts and possess strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Plan and execute menus in accordance with customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal availability
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
- Manage inventory control, including ordering and monitoring supplies
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and menu items
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation
- Ability to manage a team effectively and delegate tasks accordingly
- Experience in inventory control and cost management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special requests
