Role Overview:

They are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer III to join their dynamic team. As a Data Engineer III, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining their data infrastructure, enabling advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to support data integration, transformation, and loading processes.
• Develop and optimize data storage solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
• Implement data quality and governance frameworks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to data operations.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance our data engineering capabilities.
• Document data processes, architectures, and technical specifications for reference and training purposes.
• Mentor and support junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and related data services.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
