Position Title : Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician Responsibilities :

• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electronic controls.
• Interpret technical engineering documents like schematics and test plans, with familiarity in embedded software.
• Diagnose and repair equipment in the field and handle product returns.
• Prepare detailed service reports based on field findings.
• Regularly liaise with customers to address service needs and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with the field service team to develop and enhance project management processes.
• Utilize business software systems for processing customer requests.
• Demonstrate proficiency in working with customers on-site and documenting issues for resolution.
• Familiarity with problem-solving processes for research, resolution, and reporting.

Requirements for Field Service Technician :

• Comfortable with independently evaluating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting field failures using various tools and research methods.
• Proficient understanding of machine controls and operations, including electronic circuits, motors, hydraulics, schematics, and embedded software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50% up to 100% of the time depending on position.
• Coordination of eye-hand movements.
• Full use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to reach, manipulate, and handle objects.
• Flexibility to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and climb as needed.
• Maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other elevated structures.
• Excellent vision and hearing.
• Capability to lift and carry objects weighing up to one hundred pounds.
