Dieticians help residents make healthy lifestyle and dietary choices through development of nutritional care plans, nutrition counseling, and education.
In this role, you will perform nutritional assessments, counsel residents on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits, develop cost-efficient meal and nutrition plans, monitor and adjust meal plans to reflect resident needs, and develop educational materials about healthy food choices and lifestyle.
Qualified applicants must possess a minimum Bachelor's Degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited program.
Current, unencumbered Dietician or Nutritionist Professional License in the state of New York preferred. Successful candidates will be familiar with the MDS, QAPI, care planning process, and complete documentation in accordance with accepted standards of practice.
