ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other
duties may be assigned.
· Direct and assist truck drivers getting into proper position/location for unloading material.
· Assist with emplacement operations of incoming material.
· Assist with truck washouts.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to problem solve.
· Timely communication with foreman and/or facility manager as issues arise.
· Conduct on site analysis of incoming material to assure it is safe and does not contain any inappropriate
material.
· Comply with safety, health and environmental guidelines of the ACS, LLC facility.
· Assist with maintenance and quality control of equipment including the front end loader, pumps, tanks and
processing equipment.
· Assist with maintenance of facility property (mowing, weed eating, snow removal, tree trimming, etc.)
· Maintain facility grounds by cleaning loose trash and debris.
· Attend company sponsored training and meetings as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
* High School Diploma or G.E.D.
· Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.
· Required to exert physical effort in handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally. · Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to fumes or airborne particles with risk of electrical shock.) rarely.
· Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.
· Valid Kansas Driver’s License without major moving violations for insurability requirements.
· Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold).
· Loader and fork-lift/telehandler experience preferred, but not required. Normal setting for this job is shop or field.
ADDITIONAL NOTES Must pass pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug screening while employed. Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as needed. Position will work 40 plus hours per week and must be flexible within a 7 day/week availability. This will convert to a 2nd shift position after training.
