The Plant Controller willDevelop, interpret, and implement financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control, by performing the following duties.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Assists in providing cost analysis results
- Performs variance analysis between actual and planned/standard costs
- Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
- Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
- Monitors, analyzes and reports on inventory valuation, production and various other costs
- Assists development of integrated Revenue/COS analysis, projections, & reporting
- Extensive involvement in Month End & Year End financial closes analyzing, reporting, & booking activity
- Extensive involvement in periodic Financial Audits
- Comprehensive departmental resource
- Conducts studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
- Evaluates profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
- Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
- Assists organization's controller in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.
- Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities.
- Other duties may be assigned.
