Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our medical team. The X-ray Technician will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of various imaging techniques and medical procedures.
Duties:
- Perform X-rays on patients as requested by physicians
- Ensure patient safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
- Follow protocols for proper positioning of patients for imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications:
- Certification or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Proficiency in using X-ray equipment and related technology
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Familiarity with ER, CT, Mammography, PET scan, and Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Experience in medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
