COMPETENCIES/SCHEDULEThe ideal candidate for this position must have a valid driver’s license, knowledge of warehouse operations, teamwork skills, coordination, data entry skills, personal effectiveness and credibility, and guest interaction skills. Certified forklift operator (certification provided by Kitchen Kettle Village)
This position provides an excellent work/life balance with a 5-day work week, no evenings or Sundays. Saturday and holiday work required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Organize, develop, and maintain an efficient warehouse layout.
- Supply the kitchen with ingredients, jars, etc.
- Remove items from the kitchen
- Unload trailers that have a pallet delivery
- Transfer pallets to and from receiving
- Load up our delivery van with pallet loads
- Put finished goods pallets away in the racks, remove pallets from the rack
- Supply the 2nd floor warehouse with product, or remove the product
- Help to maintain raw material and manufactured product inventory levels through cycle counting.
- Ensure on-site warehouse inventory levels are adequate for raw ingredients and finished product.
- Communicate with fellow team members on manufactured production changes.
- Operate Kitchen Kettle vehicles.
- Receive and fill wholesale orders.
- Transfer product throughout the warehouse and Village
- Assist other departments in fulfilling orders and providing storage options.
- Attend and participate in daily meetings.
