What To Expect As An IT AssociateIdentify, research, and resolve technical problems.
Use ITIL principles to resolve issues by determining the root cause of the problem.
Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, network, and applications issues.
Responsible for account creation, user access control, desktop/laptop imaging and system deployment.
Provide excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for IT and end user processes/procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, and supplies.
Exercise cybersecurity fundamentals: monitoring, detection, and remediation to reduce risk.
Provide technical support for mobile applications and devices (Apple IOS, Android, Cisco VoIP).
Configure, install, and support Point-of-Sale systems, printers, and network infrastructure in a retail environment
Make technical procurement recommendations and IT operational improvements.
Complete and lead project tasks as assigned.
Provides business application support for Microsoft 0365, Microsoft AZURE, and Microsoft Admin Center.
Performs other duties as assigned.
CompetenciesAbility to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel.
Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems.
Possess organization and prioritization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
Minimum Qualifications2 to 4 yr. college degree in related field and/or 2-5 years of equivalent experience.
Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems and Microsoft O365 Tools and MFA.
Technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
Technical knowledge of physical and wireless networks.
Preferred QualificationsKnowledge and support experience of VMware/vSphere.
Ability to train end users on IT policy and M365 tools.
Veeam backup, disaster recovery and contingency planning.
Installation and support for GeoVision security cameras and DVR/NVRs.
Windows image development, creation, and deployment.
IT security and compliance experience.
PCI-DSS regulations.
