Job Summary : The Purchasing / Receiving Clerk will play a crucial role in acquiring products and services essential for our resort's daily operations while ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.
This role involves driving a box truck and operating a forklift to facilitate inventory delivery and stocking throughout the resort.
Job Specifications Onsite : Black Desert Resort Shift & Schedule Availability : Year Round / Full Time The budgeted range starts at $20.
00 / hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Job Responsibilities but not limited to : Assist in the procurement of goods and services, including food and beverage items, operational supplies, and equipment, ensuring they meet quality and cost specifications.
Operate a forklift to load and unload goods, ensuring safe handling and storage. Maintain and update records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
Coordinate with various departments to assess their procurement needs and preferences. Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder processes to avoid shortages or excessive surplus.
Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures. Resolve issues related to purchased goods, including defects and delivery delays, liaising with suppliers as necessary.
Deliver and stock inventory throughout the resort, ensuring proper placement and organization. Assist with the upkeep of procurement records in our purchasing software.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications and Skills : Proven experience as a Purchasing / Receiving Clerk or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Valid driver’s license and experience driving a box truck. Certification or experience in operating a forklift. Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds.
Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with sourcing and vendor management. Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Good analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
