Position – Quality Inspector
Job Location – Ixonia, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (5:00am – 3:00pm)
Starting Pay – $25-$30/hr Depends on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings (with weld callouts and GD&T) and engineering specifications to determine customer expectations.
- Use a variety of hand tools and inspection methods to measure product to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Compile measurement data and populate inspection reports to satisfy customer ISIR/PPAP requirements.
- Participate in product, process, and system audits.
- Assist with training operators in quality requirements, inspection, and measurement techniques.
- Work in cross-functional teams to determine root cause and corrective action and identify and implement improvement in procedures, processes, and products.
- HS diploma or GED and 1 to 3 years of experience in quality inspection.
- Experience in an ISO based quality management system environment preferred.
- Prior experience in low volume high mix industrial business with metal fabrication and machining preferred.
- Strong self-starter with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Working experience using MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization from direct labor to ownership.
- Strong team mate mentality with results focused approach.
