TRAM is Hiring a Facilities (Building Maintenance) Technician Near Jackson, MI
- Respond to maintenance requests, and handle any emergency and necessary repairs
- Provide help in the maintenance of building interior and exterior surfaces including drywall repair, plastering, and plumbing
- Manage safety systems such as fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, alarm contacts, and other building systems
- Ability to use a multi-meter to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to use fabrication equipment (weld, lathe, mill)
- Perform electrical work up to and including 480v, 3 phase
- Lighting repairs, replacements and upgrades
- Inspect facility equipment to locate malfunctions and perform minor repairs
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service certain parts of HVAC related equipment (everything excluding refrigerant circuit)
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service Air Compressors
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service Generators
- Assemble, disassemble, and install equipment and machinery
- Maintain, clean, and store building equipment and renovate building’s physical infrastructure
- Assess functionality of all safety systems and electrical systems
- Supervise Contractors working on site
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment
- Must be able to communicate issues and repairs verbally and electronically
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Journeyman preferred
- 5 years in the field required
