Position Title: Civil Engineer

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000/year

Location: Jackson, Mississippi

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop site development plans, including stormwater management facilities, drainage systems, and erosion control.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations.
• Prepare detailed designs for foundations, steel structures, and mounting.
• Manage risks and safety on construction sites.
• Design stormwater and runoff systems, sewage treatment plants, and pipelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering or site development.
• Proficiency in stormwater and sedimentation control analyses.
• Familiarity with grading plans, dams, landfills, roadways, and industrial/commercial development.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of regional regulatory requirements.
• Ability to calculate time of concentration using TR-55 or Rational Method.
• Experience with site-specific stormwater management agreements.

Compensation:

$75,000 - $90,000/year

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
