We are seeking a dedicated Triage Medical Assistant to join our esteemed Pain Management and Surgery Clinic. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians, nurses, and other medical staff in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Conducting patient triage to assess and prioritize medical needsAssisting physicians during patient examinations and proceduresRecording patient medical history and vital signs accuratelyAdministering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providersPerforming various medical tests and proceduresProviding patient education on treatment plans, medications, and post-operative careEnsuring medical supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintainedCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient careMaintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations at all times
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant programCurrent Medical Assistant certificationMinimum of 2 years of experience working as a Medical AssistantProficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate and empathetic demeanor towards patientsBasic knowledge of pain management and surgical procedures preferred
