The Tax Manager will be involved in all areas of tax, regulatory compliance and reporting to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in an accurate and timely fashion. This position also requires taking a role in the analysis and preparation of various state, city, and local sales and use tax returns, assist the Tax Supervisor in the preparation of the Federal and State corporate income tax return, and participate in tax related projects, as required.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities: Preparation of the Company’s sales and use tax obligations, including issuance of exemption certificates, account maintaining CCH SureTax matrices and preparing monthly sales & use tax reports returns. Assist the Tax Supervisor with tax audits by preparing information document requests as needed. Timely filing of all property tax declarations, unclaimed property, annual reports and other periodic tax filings. Complete monthly account reconciliations for all tax related G/L accounts. Assist in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for review by Tax Supervisor. Assist with responding to notices from Federal, State, and Local tax authorities. Research tax questions and handles special projects as needed.
