Relocation Assistance Available Accounting Manager (Financial Reporting & ERP Exp Req) DescriptionOur client in the Space/Aerospace industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead their team in Merritt Island, FL. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the accounting department; ensuring timely completion of tasks within established deadlines, and interfacing with leadership and other parties. In addition to that, you will also lead the accounting research and policy group's activities, including researching and documenting technical accounting analyses of non-recurring transactions, developing accounting policies, and monitoring and implementing new accounting standards. To succeed in this role, you must be able to disaggregate, analyze, and reconcile consolidated financial data in an accurate and timely manner. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in financial reporting and experience with both IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards. Accounting Manager (Financial Reporting & ERP Exp Req) ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations of the accounting departments in the US and France
Monitor accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish fiscal files and records to document transactions
Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Coordinate with team in preparation of monthly closing reporting and supporting schedules
Complete annual audits
Prepare and review the consolidated financial statements and related footnotes
Implement new revenue recognition
Prepare written accounting memos
Coordinate compliance and alignment of the Company’s accounting policies
Establish and manage financial accounting and reporting policies
Manage the maintenance and update of accounting internal control policies and procedures
Accounting Manager (Financial Reporting & ERP Exp Req) QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required
9 years of Progressive Accounting experience required
4 years of Accounting Management/Leadership experience required
4 years of Financial Reporting experience required
4 years of ERP experience required
