We are seeking a talented individual who Shares our focus and dedication for those we serve and support. This is a role that is key for service delivery within our Group Home area and designed to truly make a difference in the lives of children that are served, improving the quality of life and connection to community.
Oversee the daily operations of the group home, ensuring a structured and supportive environment for residents.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure the program meets all state licensing requirements and standards of care.
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate group home staff, including residential counselors, case managers, and support staff.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes professional growth and effective teamwork.
Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
Monitor and assess the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of residents.
Facilitate therapeutic and recreational activities that promote the well-being and development of residents.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the safety and stability of the group home environment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each resident, including case notes, incident reports, and progress assessments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
Prepare and submit regular reports to regulatory agencies and funding sources.
Build and maintain relationships with families, social workers, healthcare providers, and other external stakeholders.
Represent the group home in community meetings and events, advocating for the needs and interests of the residents.
Coordinate with external service providers to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a residential care setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience working with at-risk youth or individuals with behavioral and emotional challenges.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to perform physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
