The University of Jamestown seeks a full-time groundsman / maintenance technician to join our Physical Plant staff. Come to work in an exciting environment full of activity.

The successful applicant must be an organized self-starter, with the ability to work independently and supervise student employees.

Full time staff are eligible for full benefits including health, dental, disability, 401K, free tuition for yourself and dependents, paid leave vacation and sick, holidays off, and free admission to University of Jamestown events!Primary Duties : Maintain campus grounds to include Mowing, trimming, edging, seeding, watering, weeding, spraying, landscaping, tree cutting, snow removal, garbage cleanup.

Performs service work, general maintenance, and custodial activities to include carpentry, painting, minor grounds keeping, facility repairs to building systems, electrical fixtures, small machines, and equipment.

Successfully pass a criminal history background check prior to employment.Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.Capable of moving or relocating items up to 80lbs.

Ability to perform functions such as kneeling, reaching, bending, lifting, and pulling.Ability to operate and maintain Skid steer or Toolcat and attached implements, Payloader, Plow truck, Lawn Mowers, Weed Trimmers, Chain Saws, etc.
