Dayton Area School Consortium is Hiring a Grade 5 Teacher Near Jamestown, OH
Greeneview Local Schools is looking for two Grade 5 Teachers at the Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. The vacancies are due to internal movement. Grades 4 & 5 are structured into two and three-person teams. Traditionally, teams are composed of an ELA/SS and Math/Science configuration. Strengths or expertise of candidates may lend themselves to other arrangements.
Applicants must demonstrate:
The ability to effectively plan and teach lessons that support and extend the New State Learning Standards and meet the needs of all learners in a self-contained classroom
The ability to make and carry out long-range instructional and program planning
An understanding of best practices for quality instruction and student achievement
The ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate learners with multiple ability levels in the regular classroom and small group settings
The ability and willingness to work as part of a team of classroom teachers and administrators to plan how to best meet the needs of students
The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and teachers
The ability to keep accurate and thorough records
A record of consistently managing paperwork and handling work assignments in a timely manner
