Summary:

LIM seeks a hands-on Systems Test Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in developing cutting-edge power conversion products for medical and industrial applications. Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and validating test platforms, utilizing electrical schematics, and applying electro-mechanical skills to ensure product quality and performance.

Work Performed:

• Develop and implement automated test platforms and test racks for power conversion products (AC/DC Rectifiers, DC/DC Converters, DC/AC Inverters, system controllers).
• Design, interpret, and utilize electrical schematics for test system design and troubleshooting.
• Validate test racks, including all electrical wiring, for accuracy, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with hardware design engineers and project management to meet quality standards.
• Perform hands-on implementation and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software integrations for testing.
• Set up and utilize interfaces for common embedded and industrial communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, 1553, UART, SPI, I2C, EtherCAT).
• Apply electro-mechanical skills to integrate and operate test equipment.
• Work with vendors and team members to implement physical and logical system interfaces.
• Mentor junior team members in test engineering methodologies, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

Other Relevant Experience/Training:

• Knowledge of NI LabVIEW and TestStand is a plus.
• Familiarity with C# and VB.net programming languages is a plus.

Education and Training Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Years of Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
