Saint Rocco’s Parish in Johnston is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This is a full time position with excellent benefits. This person will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and custodial upkeep of the parish facilities and grounds including the church, school, and parish center.

Duties include routine maintenance, grounds keeping, supervising contractors and vendors, maintaining supplies, setup of space for parish events, and providing proactive status reports on the parish physical plant. Performs routine repairs including painting, minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Landscaping duties may include lawn mowing, shrub trimming, and winter walkway maintenance such as shoveling and sanding.

Must have experience with carpentry, painting, floor buffing, small plumbing and electrical projects, and general custodial and maintenance practices. A high school diploma and 5 years of experience performing custodial and maintenance work is required; OSHA training is preferred. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, shoveling snow, and be capable of working in confined spaces and extreme heights.
