STRATEGIX Management is Hiring a Dental Assistant (Part Time) Near Joliet, IL
Essential Functions
- Maintains the dental services schedule and collaborates with clerical staff to inform students of appointments in a timely manner.
- Preps patients for services and assembles required instruments and supplies prior to each exam.
- Sterilizes instruments and keeps office stocked with required supplies.
- Maintains health records of patients as directed by the center dentist and wellness director.
- Communicates postoperative care and oral hygiene instructions as prescribed by the dentist.
- Assist in taking patient X-rays.
- Measures and prepares ingredients for dental procedures as needed.
- Assists in providing clerical functions related to clinic procedures, preparing reports, communicating with students and third parties, and documentation health information.
- Conducts inventory and receives supplies.
- Provides quality customer services to students and staff at all times.
- Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property and adheres to safety practices.
- Participate in department meetings and all mandated PRH and Strategix training.
PreferredTwo years of dental office experience.
