Title: Network Operations Engineer (NOC Engineer)

Location: Jonesboro, AR - Onsite M-F 8:00-5:00. Relocation assistance provided if needed!

Duration: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Salary Compensation: Starting salary $85,000

Responsibilities of the NOC:

• The Network Operations Center (NOC) is responsible for operation, maintenance administration, and performance management of customer IP networks. The NOC serves as an escalation point for end-user issues that are unable to be resolved by field personnel or help desk technicians and as a first responder for network outages or impairments. The NOC manages uptime and availability of platforms, elements, and services within the network.
• The NOC is responsible for interfacing with multiple internal and external teams, to ensure timely and accurate resolution of all reported or identified network issues.

This is a newer department, opened last July and they are building it from the ground up. It is not a typical networking environment; they invested a quarter of a million into their lab.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4 years of networking experience. (Experts in routing, switching, and shooting on enterprise level networks.)
• Experience working within Cisco or Juniper networking systems.
• Background working in ISPs (Internet Service Providers)
• Must have strong leadership experience, need to be able to lead the tier 1 and 2 engineers.
