SUMMARY:

Weare seeking compassionate Resident Care Associates-DSP’s or CNA’s to join ourteam in providing exceptional care to residents in a Juneau residential senior care living facility. Theideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and long-timeAlaskans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Resident Care Associate

·Assist residents with activities of dailyliving, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility.

·Monitor and document changes in residents'health or behavior.

·Assist with meal preparation and ensuredietary needs are met.Record and reportchanges in residents' eating habits to the supervisor.

·Maintain a clean and safe living environmentfor residents.

·Liftand/ortransferresidentsasneeded.

·Strong care giving skills and attention todetail in providing personalized care.

·Integrity to ensure clients feel safe and comfortable when tending topersonal activities such as helping them bathe, dress, etc.

·Interpersonal skills when working with residents, including havingcompassion and being sensitive to their emotional needs.

·Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Resident Care Associate

·Highschooldiplomaorequivalentandacompetenthistory in a similar facility preferred.

·MustpossessvalidFirstAidCertificationsand,accordingtostateregulations,mayneedto possesscurrentCPR/CNACertification,statecertifications,andpass an examination and/or skills evaluation.Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain alllicense(s).

·Backgroundcheck and drug screening required.

·Speak,read,andunderstandEnglishfluently.
