C0524 American Waste, Inc. is Hiring an Account Manager Near Kalamazoo, MI

We are GFL Environmental Services. We are the only major diversified environmental services company in North America offering services in solid and liquid waste management. As a key member of GFL the Account Manager - US Industrial Sales will be responsible for enhancing client relationships and growing our market share. You will be relied upon to source new business with prospective and existing clients and will instill confidence in our customers that they are dealing with the industry leader. If you have environmental and/or industrial sales experience and are okay with remote work and travel within assigned territory, this position is for you! Job Duties: • Develop and execute territory management plan. • Seek out and grow new customers to achieve desired sales objective. • Present GFL Environmental full-service capabilities to potential customers, including, Waste Services, Industrial/Field Services, Vacuum Services, Emergency Response. • Analyze customer needs and present solutions utilizing a thorough understanding of our diverse service offerings. • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times to ensure every opportunity is taken to promote the brand. • Participate in industry tradeshows. • Assist in completion of bid/proposal requests and timely follow-up to secure new business. • Ensure exemplary customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between customer and operational staff. • Develop and maintain market intelligence with assistance from Customer Services and Sales Director. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business, Chemistry is preferred, but other degree's and/or industry experience will be considered. • Five (5) years of experience in the environmental or industrial service industry required. • Strong communication, negotiation and problem and solving skills • Ability to travel within assigned territory making sales calls to current and prospective new customers • Passion for business excellence with exceptional follow through. • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and reliable transportation. #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
