Stryten Energy is Hiring a Continuous Improvement Analyst Near Kansas, KS

Overview

The Continuous Improvement Analyst is responsible for manufacturing processes, tooling, functions and throughput improvements. This is accomplished through time/motion studies, investigation and resolution of daily manufacturing issues, machine and tool process improvements and training of associates. The Continuous Improvement Technician supports the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess ongoing improvements in performance and efficiency.
  • Provide expertise in manufacturing process improvement and new process development, including support of maintenance personnel in troubleshooting potential equipment and process problems.
  • Provide technical support for the creation of Standard Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Guide the use of common applications of principles such as Lean Manufacturing Process, Lean/Six Sigma, and other improvement processes to create efficiencies in the plant manufacturing processes.
  • Support New Product Introduction.
  • Participate in the installation of new manufacturing processes and equipment to include the evaluation, selection and application of new technology and processes and their ‘best’ application as well as applying concepts of new manufacturing processes and improvements to existing processes.
  • Drive improvements in machine and process uptimes.
  • Use statistical analysis methods to evaluate test results and adjust as needed to ensure that process performance targets are met.

Qualifications

  • Background in an industrial setting, preferably manufacturing and/or production.

  • Experience conducting time/motion studies.

  • Experience to include: Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Process background; New Product Introduction; Procedure Development; Training Development. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology or other related field.
