NSP is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Kansas, MO
The Accounts Receivable will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all credit applications and job accounts as well as basic accounts receivable administrative duties; Invoice submission, account reconciliation, billing. In addition, this position will be back up for our orders desk.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review invoices for accuracy during the billing process
- Communicate efficiently with brokers and customers
- Schedule parcel pick-ups with shipping companies
- Manages deposits, credits and incoming ACH
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and make collection calls
- Create and assist the Controller with monthly reports
- Work efficiently with our other locations
- Maintain proper records keeping and filing

- Possess strong organization and planning skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Knowledge and use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
- Must be organized and maintain schedules and follow through on assignments.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
CONTACTS: Position interacts with internal customers and minimal vendors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Basic math skills – able to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Capable of working with percentages
REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply disciplined knowledge to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to reason with employees and resolve issues.

Full time regular position that works Monday through Friday and weekends as needed, generally 8 hours per day, with some overtime. Travel is between 0% and 10% this position.
