Insight Global is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist Near Kansas, MO

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a driven and experienced Screening Coordinator for one of our large fiber network clients. The Screening Coordinator will be responsible for relaying information to a locator to ensure that our client’s underground telecommunication utilities are protected before digging. These individuals must be reliable and comfortable working in a remote environment.

Day to Day:

90% of the work:

  • Work on 225-325 tickets per day (roughly 1 min per ticket)
  • Analyzing the data/ticket and comparing to the fiber map. Appropriately granting approval for dig or escalating and assigning a locator to identify exact placement of the fiber

10% entails:

  • Use GIS map to research and understand utility routes
  • Handle external emails and voicemails regarding locate questions
  • Work with OSP (Outside Plant) to resolve unlocatable fiber issues
  • Work with contract locators to resolve locate issues
  • Notify OSP (Outside Plant) and Contract Locators of confirmed damages
  • Continue to develop skills in interpreting maps and comprehending One Call Ticket

Must Haves:

  • Call center/ help desk/ customer service experience with ticketing experience
  • Ability to work independently and stay on-task in remote environment
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office Suite

Nice to Have:

  • GIS, mapping, Irth Utilisphere knowledge or prior experience

Pay rate: $16-20/hr
