**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Independent Freight Broker to join our team. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods, negotiating rates with carriers, and building strong customer relationships.
**Duties:**
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of freight between shippers and carriers
- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to secure the best possible deals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery
- Handle and resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process
- Utilize transportation planning and supply chain management techniques to optimize logistics operations
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in transportation planning and logistics sales
- Strong understanding of freight, supply chain, and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier)
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Sales acumen to drive business growth through effective negotiation
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Ability to negotiate effectively with carriers to achieve cost-effective transportation solutions
