Workbox Staffing is Hiring a Packer Near Kentwood, MI
1st Shift- Packer - $17.50 / hr - Grand Rapids
Come work for a snack food manufacturer that is rapidly growing and looking for employees to hire permanently!
Preferred Qualifications :
- Responsible for handling the finished product (counting, packaging, sealing, putting product in trays / boxes, stacking boxes)
- Ensuring pallets, boxes and trays are up to shipping standards
- Quality inspecting per customer standards (product weight, appearance, verifying code dates)
- Maintain working conditions of equipment
- Follow company, GMP, and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Preferred Skills :
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions the entire shift
- Able to reach overhead, kneel, bend, and crouch
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic math skills
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities include quality control of products, filling and sealing products into final packaging, and placing products onto pallets, trays, or boxes based on customer specifications.
