Our client seeks an industrial engineer to lead implementation of a new ProPlanner MES system.In addition, you will also do industrial engineering tasks such as line balancing and time studies.

- Since the early 1900's, this manufacturer has established itself as a provider of high quality and innovative products and services used in the transportation industry
- With 9 manufacturing facilities in the US where working safely is put first
- Lead site implementation of a Pro Planner MES system
- Develop and maintain standard hours, cycle time, and move time data
- Implement and facilitate lean manufacturing principles to improve manufacturing efficiencies and eliminate waste
- Provide engineering support to the shop floor
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
- Industrial engineering experience within a low volume, complex manufacturing environment
- Experience with line balancing, time studies, capacity analysis, ergonomic risk analysis, standard work and lean manufacturing principles
- Six Sigma certification preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
