Community Child Care Center is Hiring an Assistant Teacher (Toddlers) Near Kimberly, WI

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our toddler classroom. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children 18 to 24 months and committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment. The right candidate will be patient, caring and willing to step into a role in a classroom that allows them to work with another teacher to create a positive and welcoming environment.

Experience is preferred but not required!

Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities for students
- Support students in their learning and social development across ages and diverse learning needs
- Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create lesson plans that align with educational goals
- Provide individualized attention to students as needed
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to assist in lesson plans and teaching alongside the teacher
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus
- Certification in childcare or teaching is desirable

Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in lesson planning and classroom management
- Ability to educate preschool-aged children in a group care setting
- Background in play-based curriculum
-Willingness to learn and grow within the organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
