LaSalle Network is Hiring a Product Manager Near King of Prussia, PA

LaSalle Network has partnered with an industrial distribution and manufacturing company located in the Philadelphia metro area. They are immediately seeking a Product Manager to work in the company headquarters on this newly created role. The Product Manager is a hands-on position that will sit within the Marketing team.
Product Manager Responsibilities :
  • Lead and oversee the management of the entire product portfolio from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and analysis to identify growth opportunities, market trends and potential risks
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for introducing new products to the market and seamlessly phasing out obsolete products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions during phase-in and phase-out processes
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape and emerging trends
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions about product development, enhancements and discontinuations
  • Work closely with product development, sourcing, marketing, sales, supply planning, finance and other relevant departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and manage budgets related to the product portfolio, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the product portfolio
  • Implement corrective actions and improvements based on performance metrics
  • Maintain product standard convention (name, UoM, Type of Product), Data Validation, Data sheets, safety data sheets and other technical marketing documents for the product lines
Product Manager Requirements:
  • 5 years of marketing, product portfolio/product management experience in a B2B environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Highly developed ability to interact with multiple audiences, facilitating group discussions and connections
  • Well versed with fundamental business math, interpreting P&Ls, margins, operational and sales metrics
  • Highly developed ability to define complex problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Highly developed ability to make decisions and recommendations
  • Ability to lead teams, set goals and managed across a matrix organization
  • Highly developed ability to successfully interact with a wide and varied range (intellectual and behavioral) of people while fostering a cooperative working environment
  • Must have a highly developed strong background in MS Office Suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • SQL, MS Power BI, Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Some local and national travel will be required (25% or less)
