Job Title: Production Technician

Rate: $15-$17/hour - Dependent on prior work experience

Location: Kingman, Arizona

Hours: 40 hours/week [ /- depending on workload]

Direct Report: Production Supervisor

The Production Technician will play an important role in the overall running of day-to-day operations here at the facility. Hired team members will be responsible for ensuring our harvest and post-harvest operations run smoothly. Production technicians will be responsible for ensuring that plants are harvested, hung, dried, trimmed, cured, stored, packaged, processed, and manufactured properly.

To best succeed, the production technician should be the type of person who can follow directions and work quickly and efficiently. This will be a physically demanding job and include sitting and/or standing for extended periods, as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching. As with all positions, clear communication, punctuality, and a strong work ethic with a desire to go above and beyond the call of duty are important traits to have.

Personnel Duties & Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility will be to ensure our plants are properly taken care of once harvested.
• You will be harvesting, hanging, trimming, packaging, and processing our final end product, ensuring the utmost cleanliness and efficiency at all times.
• Specific Production Technician job duties can include but are not limited to, hanging plants, bucking down plants, hand trimming flower, sorting flower, operating trim machines, weighing and packaging flower, creating pre-rolls and other rolled items, manufacturing SKUs and daily, systematic cleaning of all post-harvest work areas
• Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitizing of grow facility and machinery; disposal of waste according to strict compliance guidelines
• Secondary responsibilities as assigned by supervisors and management, but may include general facility cleaning, organizing, inventory, quality control, inventory control, as well as additional harvesting and post-harvest duties
• Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal and written directives, training information, and policies when performing duties
• Accomplish all tasks appropriately assigned or requested
• Must be comfortable working in different ranges of temperatures and humidity, including high humidity and hot temperatures during the summer months, and maintain a healthy hydration level throughout the day
• Must be able to work in a temperature controlled environment (60 degrees) throughout the shift while sitting and working for prolonged periods

Any additional work given that is still reasonably within the scope of responsibilities should be treated as an extension of current job responsibilities, and performed as such. Management reserves the right to allocate additional, or subtract, workloads and responsibilities as needed, and as seen fit.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age, must possess a valid driver's license or state ID card
• In addition to the above requirements, one must be able to:
• Sit or stand while performing repetitive motions for long periods of time
• Work at a fast pace for prolonged periods, with high, sustained energy
• Be able to lift at least 45 pounds
• Work in hot, sunny, environments for long periods of time
• Pass state mandated (ADHS) background check
