LHH is Hiring a Plant Manager Near Kingston, RI
Location: North Kingstown, RI
Duration: 12-14 months
Salary: $48.08 - $60.09 per hour depending on experience level
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Plant Manager to oversee operations at our North Kingstown, RI facility on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Plant Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality assurance, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, adherence to safety protocols, and achievement of strategic objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily plant operations to ensure smooth functioning of all activities.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to align plant operations with company goals.
- Manage operational costs within budgetary constraints.
- Provide training and support to enhance employee performance and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as necessary to support departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of experience in plant management or related roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
