We are searching for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a monthly basis.
• Assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to support informed decision-making.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to provide financial support.
• May assist with tax preparation or external audits (depending on experience).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Staff accountant role or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with GAAP principles a plus.
