Who We Are
Synergy Pet Group is a fast-growing company (on the Inc. 5000 list every year since 2018) that owns several brands and products in the animal health and voluntary benefits industries. Thousands of veterinarians nationwide accept our pet plans and use our practice management software to grow their practice.
We are expanding our Employee Benefits team!
The Account Manager is responsible for all client needs post-launch.
Client Support:
o Answer all incoming emails and phone calls from PBS, clients and/or brokers for their assigned companies.
o Clearly and concisely communicate on complex billing and enrollment questions for Account Executives, Clients, and Brokers.
· Focus on group enrollment and year over year growth:
o Reach out to groups with low enrollments and offer guidance.
o Maintain awareness of your larger groups and check in regularly.
Any specific tasks needed for a group:
o Sending annual renewals.
o Host post-implementation calls/webinars if group is having issues understanding our benefits and/or the enrollment process.
o Reach out to groups if there are errors on their enrollment files.
o Continuously update contacts.
o Coordinate any member or group refunds.
o Address any questions about deduction reports.
o Coordinate with Marketing for custom materials.

Established in 1995 as Pet Assure, a veterinary discount plan, the company has grown and launched multiple offerings in the voluntary employee benefits space.
In 2017, the company launched Pet Benefit Solutions, a licensed insurance agency specializing in pet employee benefits.
In 2019, SPG purchased Shepherd Veterinary Software, a cloud-based practice management software designed by a veterinarian.
In 2021, the company launched Wishbone Pet Insurance, an easy-to-understand pet insurance brand designed for the employee benefit market.
