Description

First Mutual Holding Co. (FMHC) is a member-owned holding company dedicated to supporting the growth and operational needs of mutual banks in ways that allow them to serve their communities. To support our mission, we will hire remotely only in the areas in which we currently operate including Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Indiana.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will manage and facilitate the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of enterprise, line of business, and department projects supporting First Mutual Holding Co. and its Member Banks as outlined in the PMO Standards and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  1. define project scope/objective and be flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope, schedule, or requirements.
  2. create detailed project plans, track and document all project activity.
  3. monitor and adjust project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
  4. ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.
  5. meet regularly with project team, stakeholders, and other project related parties.
  6. report on project status regularly, escalating when appropriate.
  7. keep thorough project documentation, including reports, questions/decisions, status updates, and retrospectives.
  • Risk Management:
  1. identify potential risks, assess their impact, and develop strategies to mitigate or respond to them.
  • Problem-Solving:
  1. address challenges and solve problems that may arise during the project lifecycle. Document issues and resolutions
  • Stakeholder Management & Project Team Management:
  1. maintain key relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, FMHC Member Bank leadership, and project team.
  2. maintain open and transparent communication with team members, stakeholders, and vendors throughout the project while assuring appropriate confidentiality of sensitive information.
  3. Provide effective leadership to the project team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Complies with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including, but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and related anti-money laundering statutes, and federal consumer protection legislation and regulations.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

Qualification and Skills

  1. 3 Years of experience leading projects as a project manager or business lead is preferred.
  2. Experience in financial services or banking is preferred.
  3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
  5. Current CAPM or other Project Management Certification is preferred. A willingness to obtain a certification within 12 months from start is required.

Physical Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer, see, hear and speak.
  • This position is performed in an office or remote work office environment and requires the ability to lift, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands and move about as is typical in such environments.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • This position requires occasional travel; less than 10 days per year.
  • This position has a regular work schedule of five days a week with typical work hours being 8.30a through 5.15p but also requires working occasional weekends and evenings as dictated by project needs, including emergency cell phone availability.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
