Job Summary:

Performs functions directed towards controlling incoming ingredient quality, finished product quality, and overall quality control programs and special projects. All quality control technicians and sanitation report to the quality control supervisor.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure safe food is produced the meets our customers expectations
• Maintain/ Improve Quality and Sanitation programs
• Lead Sanitation and Quality Audits
• Maintain and update needed files using excel/ word.
• Communicate with customers as needed.
• Cover for QC tech on vacations
• Other admin duties as needed.
• Must be able to travel 2-3 weeks of the year

Qualifications:

• Requires a College Degree.
• Minimum of three years of working in the Food Industry with internal/external audit experience. Knowledge of GMP and FMSA related topics is required.
• Strong communication, analytical abilities and organization skills. 
• Knowledge of Adobe applications and Microsoft Office.
• Must have a valid driver's license
