You'll embark on a journey through the intricacies of credit applications and reports, using your analytical prowess to unlock the potential of our customers.

Your mission will be to navigate the seas of creditworthiness, setting sail towards financial success for both our clients and our company.

Essential Job Duties

  • Conduct deep dives into credit applications, employing sophisticated checks and analyses to chart the course of customer credit history
  • Update and modify accounts with precision, ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date information
  • Analyze and determine the creditworthiness of applicants, mastering the art of risk and reward in the quest to extend credit limits
  • Ensure that all approved applications comply with company criteria
  • Swiftly respond to inquiries on credit increases, new accounts, and more, ensuring every customer feels valued
  • Collaborate with the contracts team, acting as a bridge to facilitate further review of contract requests
  • Provide ACH and banking details to customers
  • Provide carrier packets and other key documents necessary to set up accounts with companies
  • Create and manage account codes, pulling credit reports to support credit applications
  • Exercise discretion when communicating account information with individuals including agents, prospective customers, and potential new agents
  • Complete and oversee customer forms, laying the groundwork for successful account setups
  • Share your wisdom by mentoring and training department members

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Office experience
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with top notch problem solving skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Ability to pivot one task to another and reprioritize throughout the day
  • Solid mathematical skills
  • Strong typing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting or customer service
  • Experience in the credit field
  • Trucking industry experience
