J.V. Equipment, Inc is Hiring a Branch Manager Near Laredo, TX

In this role, you'll oversee daily service operations at the local level, with responsibility for managing both the service support team and technicians. Your primary focus will be assembling and leading a customer-centric team that consistently delivers excellent service. You'll drive organizational change to establish a unified approach to business operations and ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Improving the efficiency of the service organization will be a central aspect of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and uphold the company's vision and mission within your team.
  • Serve as a positive role model, inspiring others to excel and treating everyone with respect.
  • Foster a culture of positivity and urgency within the team to surpass customer expectations.
  • Maintain consistent performance in meeting service KPIs related to efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Address disciplinary issues as needed within the team.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans for each location under your purview.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct performance reviews for team members as required.
  • Identify and address trends within the organization or industry landscape.
  • Administer wages for direct reports.
  • Provide feedback and recognition to team members.
  • Assist in recruiting and developing the service team, including conducting training assessments.
  • Support the implementation and utilization of service automation systems.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
  • Proven problem-solving ability, with expertise in conflict resolution.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Basic technical knowledge of industrial equipment preferred.
  • Previous experience in leading a service team is desirable.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and budgeting/forecasting concepts, or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage remote teams effectively while ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Proficiency in cross-functional and cross-geographical communication.
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma, with preference for college education or equivalent experience in the aftermarket service sector.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of demonstrated hands-on management experience.
  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
  • Other Requirements: Strong organizational skills, effective communication, conflict resolution abilities, and experience facilitating change.
