Responsibilities for

x Preparation * Informing clients or employers on the tax preparation process * Collecting relevant financial records * Inputting data from financial records into tax return software or databases * Using applicable federal, state and local tax law to determine deductions and how much each client will pay or earn on the return * Completing and filing tax documents with appropriate agencies * Building customer relationships to promote and expand the business Responsibilities for Bookkeeper * Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis * Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner * Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data * Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standard. * Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes This Company Describes Its Culture as: * Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused * Outcome-oriented -- results-focused with strong performance culture Typical end time: * 5PM Typical start time: * 8AM This Job Is: * A job for which all ages, including older job seekers, are encouraged to apply Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Compensation package: * 1099 contract * Hourly pay Experience level: * 10 years * 11 years * 2 years * 3 years * 4 years * 5 years * 6 years * 7 years * 8 years * 9 years Weekly day range: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
