POS Business Analyst - Hybrid in Lawrence, MA
Description:
JOB MISSION:
We are actively seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Business Analyst to join our Global Retail Technology team. The team is responsible for the development, support, and execution of vendor developed software and configurations into the ecosystem of our global retail platform. We seek active learners who love to use technology to solve challenging problems and create efficiencies along the way to ultimately enhance our customer experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to bridge the gap between our technical team and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and optimization of the POS solution globally. The position will be based out of the Lawrence, MA location. This Job requires work to be performed on site at times in the retail technology lab for projects and initiatives, with flexibility to work from home when appropriate.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITES:
Collaborate with global business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for the POS systems including hardware, software, and integrations.
Actively participate in meetings with the product team in an agile setting to refine Epics and Stories to assist with planning and detailing out work and tasks in sprints.
Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvements and to gain efficiencies.
Conduct system tests, checks, and configurations to ensure proper functioning of systems.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and resolve issues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a business or technical analyst with a focus on Point of Sale.
Strong understanding of POS hardware, software, integrations, and payment systems.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban work environment.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
Experience managing, executing, and reporting on multiple technical tasks and efforts across different products.
