St. Leo School in Leominster, Massachusetts, is hiring a middle school Math teacher.Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:-Developing lesson plans, instructional materials, projects, and assessments in the following areas: -fractions, decimals, integers, graphing, basic statistics, probability, and basic geometry-8th grade Algebra I curriculum includes equation solving, graphing equations, writing algebraic equations, solving systems of equations, and basic quadratics.-Evaluation of student academic and social growth and identifying student needs. This includes the administration of standardized testing and utilizing testing data for improvement/direction of classroom instruction and student performance.-Maintains complete and accurate records, by law, school/district policy, and administrative regulations.-Maintains open, pro-active communication with parents and guardians.-Participates in on-going professional development including mandatory in-service PD.-Participates cooperatively with administration.-Collaborative team member.-Active participation in supervisory duties such as drop-off, lunch, recess, dismissal.Interested candidates need to send a cover letter, resume, and references to nancy.pierce@st-leoschool.org.
