Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Attorney to join our legal team, working independently with our clients. As an Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, as well as conducting legal research and drafting legal documents. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, writing abilities, and the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts.
Duties:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters, mostly estate planning and Probate.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
- Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal proceedings
- Assist with legal administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts
- Some knowledge of Estate Planning and Probate Law (Employer will train)
- Writing skills
- Proficiency in using Word and email
- Ability to communicate legal concepts to clients
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
